We are already into February and it is still bitterly cold. Traditionally the first two months of the year are quiet so all of us in The Dolphin have been taking some well deserved time off. Don't let that fool you, the rest of us have been planning for the year ahead. With spring just around the corner Steve and I are looking forward to getting the garden ready for the sunshine (fingers crossed) and we have a few well used bird feeder up now too. The big fat quiz on 1st of Feb was a great success I never thought we could fit that many people in our restaurant and the booking kept coming in. I'm very sorry for those who missed out, it just gives us an excuse to do another one. Thanks to everyone who help with the coffee morning, so many delicious cakes and we raised �326.00 for Aldringham church so a big thank you to everyone who came along to support. 16th February we are launching our new range of pies, every Saturday a new selection of pies will be available for �6.95 and back by popular on the 1st march is Bingo night and Haddock and Chips, so please remember to book early! 10th March is Mothers Day and we are already taking bookings and we always look forward to a busy Sunday David
